Novo izdanje albuma će sadržati čak 53 ranije neobjavljene trake. Deo reizdanja će biti dva cela koncerta, nastup iz 1993. u Los Angelesu i poslednji nastup u Seattleu, 1994. Album će činiti još šest dodatnih snimaka s koncerata u Rimu, New Yorku i Springfieldu.
Pesme je rekonstruisao Jack Endino, koji je s bendom radio na prvom albumu, „Bleach“. Uz neobjavljene pesme, deluxe reizdanje će činiti i dvanaest pesama s „In Utero“ albuma uz pet bonusa. Na novim verzijama tih pesama je radio Bob Weston.
„In Utero“ reizdanje će moći da se nabavi u različitim formatima. Super Deluxe Paket sadrži knjigu od 48 stranica neobjavljenih fotografija, novodizajniran fanzin od 20 stranica, litografiju plakata za Los Angeles turneju, tri letka za svirke, dve karte za koncerte u Los Angelesu i Seattleu, četiri platnene akreditacije za novinare, fotografe, after show i lokalne ljude. Biće dostupan samo ograničen broj super deluxe paketa. „In Utero“ je takođe dostupan kao 5xCD Super Deluxe Box Set, 1xLP Vinyl Edition, 2xCD Deluxe Edition.
